Leafleting in Maryport
Another day of leafleting went ahead today only this time in our home town Maryport.
Hillside Estate, known locally as Bangla, and Ewanrigg Brow, known locally as shiny row, has been bombarded with leaflets revealing the truth of the far right fascist party the BNP.
As of yesterday we receeved a good response and were even invited into one supporters house. Every house on the estate was leafleted and more leafleting is planned for the rest of Maryport in the next few weeks.

Recieved your leaflet today. Im a honest, hard-working, west cumbrian with no racial hatred in me. But, i cant believe how you are so oblivious to things that are hppening in the real world. The BNP in my eyes are just another democratic party with differnt ideals and beliefs to most british people, but we do live in a democracy and have a right to be heard. Youve tried to stir up local racist hatred towards the eastern europeans working in west cumbria but it goes further than it. The BNP only use words to get their point across but thats not the way muslims do it in our country is it. Do you think its ok for muslims in this country to blow inoccent people up? Do you think its ok to have websites showing people having their heads cut off? Is this your idea of civilisation and of how democracy should work? I suggest that you stop wssting your tim trying to stir up trouble locally and put more of your time and effort into trying to stop these so called british muslims terrorising our country.
Hello,
Thanks for responding to the leaflet.
I don’t know why you think the BNP are a democratic party. The party is run by Nick Griffin as a personal dictatorship and the ideals of the BNP leadership are not only different to most British people but are dangerous to the future of Britain.
It’s good to hear there are honest people in Maryport opposed to racism. The BNP are a racist political party and I hope all people can see this.
How have we tried to stir up racial hatred? We are opposed to racism, it is the BNP who have been stirring up trouble and hatred with their leaflet 'Poles Apart'.
The BNP as a party may only use words but several BNP members have tried to use terrorist tactics. In a documentary a couple of years ago a BNP in Bradford declared he wanted to blow up all the cities Mosques with a rocket launcher.
I’m not a Muslim and I don’t think British Muslims have anything to do with the problems in Maryport.
As a group we are opposed to racism in all forms, and that includes anti-white racism. I personally am completely opposed to terrorism of Muslim extremists.
Most Muslims are not terrorists. To use another example, the IRA were Catholics and terrorists but that does not mean Catholics in Maryport were terrorists does it?
We are not trying to stir up trouble locally, we’re trying to stop it.
